Nichiren Buddhist Kannon Temple of Nevada

All members of the congregations hit these hand drums while they chant Odaimoku. These drums are also used when Nichiren Shu priests and members march in the streets for World Peace and Security of the nation.  We chant and beat the drums while chanting, “Namu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo.” It is one of the good deeds to plant the seeds of the Sacred Title of the Lotus Sutra in the general public, and not only to the people but to animals, plants, trees, and anything where they march.
